British Salt plans to mitigate impact of fuel shortages

British Salt bulk tanker

British Salt's clear priority is continuity of supply to customers. In order to mitigate the possibility of industrial action or other occurrences restricting supplies of road fuel used to deliver salt products, British Salt has built its own fuel reserves sufficient for several weeks of normal operations. These fuel reserves can be made available as required to ensure that bulk and bagged product deliveries will not be disrupted due to lack of fuel. Whilst the threat of fuel shortages remains, these reserves will be regularly replenished to ensure continuity of supply to customers.

British Salt will be monitoring the situation very closely and will keep its customers informed of developments as appropriate.
